Ian and I have created a "fun budget". We're setting aside a chunk of money with the specific purpose of having fun over the next two months, leading up to November 12. (I have to think of a title for surgery day - something like "fat transplant day" but not that lame)
We were going to take a mini-break for the Thanksgiving long weekend, but decided instead to make every weekend a little more fun. I'm talking dinners out, massages, and other little treats. Starting with a treat for Ian - he was "allowed" to buy a Sony Play Station 3 and is now happy as a clam with his high definition video games and Blu-Ray discs.This weekend we're taking Friday off, making it a 4-day weekend, and doing it up in grand style at Kinnon's gorgeous cottage in Wakefield, Quebec with our closest friends. That's just what the doctor ordered.
(that was the lamest sentence ever. I threw that in there so you would audibly groan when you read it)
