For your listening pleasure...

I like to listen to The Moth on my iPod.  What the heck is The Moth?  It's a storytelling series that takes place in the States, and it's a live show where people tell stories about their lives on stage in front of an audience, without notes. Because I don't live in New York, and can't go to The Moth in person, I listen to the recordings on my iPod from The Moth podcast.  It's wildly popular and very good.

Anyway.

A couple weeks ago, one of the stories featured on The Moth podcast was a woman talking about her BRCA mutation, and getting a prophylactic mastectomy (just like me!).  But this woman is a comedy writer, so she describes the whole experience in a much more entertaining and funny way than I could.

So, for your listening pleasure, I share it with you.  I've uploaded the Mp3 file to my website so you can download it.  Listen on your computer, put it on your iPod, whatever.  It's about 16 minutes long.  Enjoy.  (oh, click the link below to listen)
